The Paton 1.5 tonne Wheeled Feeder is designed with simple stock management in mind. Available in both Sheep and Cattle Variants.

Tow from the silo to the paddock and simply relocate when necessary to minimise pasture damage. These offer the farmer a far more practical solution for herd management and feeding. Remember when the country gets wet, stock pug up around the feeder leaving quite a mess sometimes. When you pick the feeder up behind the tractor and take it to the silo for refilling, you can bring it back and relocate it to a new dry area in the paddock....or to the next paddock if you are about to move stock. Being a wheeled unit, you eliminate the need for a front end loader to shift your feeder and potential damage in transport. This model requires a tractor and linkage bar to tow, and to raise and lower the unit while transporting.

You can nominate the hitch type for these wheeled units, either a tow ball, single tongue swivel, double tongue, or quick hitch tapered (40mm eye on top, 50mm eye on the bottom). Also a rear hitch point allows two wheeled feeders to be attached and towed in tandem. These feeders come with a jack stand to assist in the hitch to fixed height vehicles.

There is now an option to have the wheel/axle position to be under the feeder which may suit some operations.

The lick door on these feeders is suitable for feeding grain, pellets or heavy chopped and mixed feeds. The specially designed trough and lick door system contain no sharp or rough edges, are soft on the animals mouths and eliminate all waste, allowing your feed to go further.
